The Glass Blackberry Necklace you see here features one of my handmade glass blackberry beads, accented by six green firepolished Czech crystals and hung on Sterling Silver figure-eight chain. These beads are hand-formed one cell at a time in the flame of a torch from colored glass. As a result the color will not rub, flake or chip off and no two blackberries are exactly alike.
Like real blackberries, each of these glass ones contains a few reddish not-quite-ripe cells and the center plug that remained inside when it was picked. Completely ripe (all black) blackberries are available by special order.
The standard length for the necklace you see above is 18” and it is finished with a toggle clasp. Different lengths and clasp styles are available by special order. Like all of my jewelry, this design is available in both 14/20 Gold-Filled and Sterling Silver.
