The Glass Raspberry Necklace you see here features three of my handmade glass raspberry beads, accented by six green firepolished Czech crystals and hung on 14/20 Gold-Filled figure-eight chain. The center raspberry is usually about 18mm high, with the side berries being a little smaller - about 16mm. Like real raspberries, each has a translucent quality with a soft surface sheen. Every cell of the raspberry has a slight vertical indentation. These beads are hand-formed one cell at a time in the flame of a torch from colored glass. As a result the color will not rub, flake or chip off and no two raspberries are exactly alike.
I make raspberries in a both red and Fall Gold varieties. The other colors can be seen on the Raspberries Page. A raspberry necklace with Fall Gold or mixed varieties could be made as a special order.
The standard length for the necklace you see above is 18” and it is finished with a toggle clasp. Different lengths and clasp styles are available by special order. Like all of my jewelry, this design is available in both 14/20 Gold-Filled and Sterling Silver.
