The Glass Peach Necklace you see here features one of my handmade glass ripe peaches suspended from a v-shaped Sterling Silver slider. The peach is about 19mm in diameter. Its copper wire stem is embedded inside the glass and cannot be pulled free. These beads are hand-formed individually in the flame of a torch by melting in many layers of powdered transparent glass, so the color can never rub, flake or chip off. No two peaches are exactly alike.
The slider is suspended on Sterling Silver figure-eight chain. The standard length for the chain is 20 inches and it is finished with a lobster clasp. You may wear it at any length you please by clipping the lobster into the link of your choice. The free end of the chain is finished with a small matching glass leaf.
