Ripening Glass Raspberry Bracelet with Swarovski Crystals on Sterling Silver

Ripening Glass Raspberry Bracelet
with Swarovski Crystals on Sterling Silver
RBRR-ELS

This Glass Raspberry Bracelet features five of my ripe glass Raspberry beads. The glass raspberries are accented by Swarovski crystals in ruby, pink and pale green, as well as small glass leaves. For strength the bracelet is strung on 49-strand stainless steel beading wire and finished with Sterling Silver findings.

These glass Raspberry beads were created one cell at a time by melting glass in the flame of a torch, so no two are exactly alike. Like real raspberries, each has a translucent quality with a soft surface sheen. Every cell of the raspberry has a slight vertical indentation. Because no paint is used the color will never rub, flake or chip off.

The glass raspberries tend to look a bit dry after they've been washed with soap. They actually improve with wearing because picking up a little oil from your skin gives the surfaces a soft sheen. You can hasten this process by dabbing a little baby oil or mineral oil on your fingers. Wipe off most on a cloth so there's just a little shine left on your fingers - then rub them over the surface of each raspberry to give it a lovely soft glow.

The length of the bracelet you see above can be adjusted between 7 and 8.5 inches by clipping the lobster clasp into the link of your choice. I can also make the bracelet in a different length, a different clasp style or with gold-filled findings if you prefer - just specify your requirements when you order. You can see other Raspberry jewelry by viewing the Raspberries Page of this site.

Raspberry jewelry can also be custom made with high-karat gold or platinum findings and accented with gemstone beads. Some examples can be viewed on the Custom Jewelry Page.

Ordering information is available on the Order and Contact Page.
